Almost Done

What do you do when you should be studying. Taking crazy picture's of yourself of course. ..

I'm almost done with all my finals. Just a math final left and I'll be done with this semester.

This week has been so stressful that my face started breaking out, and I usually don't break out.

Oh also I found a penny on the ground heads up. I'm sure that is a lucky coin so I picked it up and put it in my math book. Hopefully it will give me some luck for my last final

Happy Birthday Sofia!

My little puppy Sofia is not a puppy no more. I can't believe she is turning 2 years old today.

I remember when we decided to get a dog in February of 2011. It was around Valentines Day and a friend of my husbands mom had just gotten a puppy. We wanted a puppy just like hers, but we were to late because they had already given all those puppies away. So we started looking online and found a online shelter where you could adopt dogs (Both of our dogs are former shelter dogs). We totally fell in love with a little 2 month old puppy named Pongo (Yes, like the dalmatian from "101"). She was tiny, weighing no more than 6 pounds and we contacted the shelter and said we wanted her.

The next day we picked her up, and named her Sofia.

Finals Week!

OMG... Finals week is killing me. I love school but I really don't like when all my Exams are the same week. How are you suppose to do good when you have 5 exams and one paper due during the same week.

Oh Molly

My dog Molly ate one of the pillows that belongs to our sofa. It hade feathers in it so I think it all started with her pulling iut som of those. But when I woke up this morning there were feathers everywhere. .. she looked so guilty!

This week and next week are going to be so stressful because next week is finals week. So I'm spending most of my time with a big cup of tea sitting in the school library, studying. It will be so nice when finals are over and this christmas breaks will be one the best I've had in a long tine.

Christmas Decorations

I think Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. This year I made sure to not put up any Christmas decorations until after thanksgiving because we should celebrate one holiday at the time.

The days after thanksgiving was spent decorating our apartment and I think it looks really nice.

I bought this Christmas star at IKEA and it reminds me of Sweden, because in Sweden everyone owns one of these.

 We bought a beautiful light curtain with snowflakes.

And of course, as a swede you cannot forget your advent candles. I had trouble with this because I really wanted a candle holder for 4 smaller candles, but because they do not celebrate Advent in the US, I had to improvise. It still turned out nicely though.

New Blog!

I've had a blog for a long time, but I didn't really upload as much as I should have and I didn't feel motivated to upload anything. I thought If I gave myself a new start with a new blog that it would be more fun.

I also choose to write in English instead of Swedish because I want every friend and family member to be able to read what I write. because I live in the US it totally makes sense to write in English.

I'm going to go in a different direction with this blog and I will write about everything that I want to write about and I also think I'm going to do a weekly weigh in and keep a food diary on here, to keep myself on track. I feel like if you write it down for everyone to see then you are more motivated to eat healthy and workout.
